Explore Burnaby’s Best Beaches, Forests, Playgrounds, Parks, and Pools

Our Burnaby summer camp is a city-wide adventure, leading us through the community’s scenic waterfronts and expansive green spaces. We stay active and engaged as we go on daily out-trips to places such as:

Barnet Marine Park: On this North Burnaby out-trip, we enjoy beach days exploring the shorelines along the Burrard Inlet and making the most of the park’s beautiful open spaces.

Confederation Park Spray Park: Located near the Eileen Dailly Leisure Pool, this is one of our go-to spots for cooling off while staying active.

Kensington Park Pool and Robert Burnaby Park Pool: We visit these popular Burnaby outdoor pools for swimming sessions throughout the summer.

Indoor Backup at Eileen Dailly Pool: If the Burnaby weather calls for a break from the outdoors—whether it's heavy rain or wildfire smoke—we move our activities indoors to places like the Eileen Dailly Community Centre Pool for indoor fun.

The Rainforest Philosophy

Our non-profit camps prioritize nature-immersion and active, outdoor play. We are participant-centred, following the unique interests and curiosity of every camper to spark self-discovery. We strive to cultivate a community built on kindness, respect, empathy, and connection.

As a screen-free environment, we trade devices for discovery. Our team is composed of career professionals, including Teachers, EAs, and Lifeguards, who bring maturity and expertise to the field. We aim to maintain low 1:5 ratios at our summer camps (supported by dedicated volunteers) to ensure optimal safety and mentorship.

We seek to empower, inspire, and create community through every adventure.

Our goal is to create the safest, healthiest, and most respectful community possible. We have a zero-tolerance policy for physical, verbal, and emotional violence. If a camper is violent, their family will be called to pick them up and the rest of their camp registration will be cancelled and refunded.
