Explore Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows’ Beautiful Lakes, Forests, Playgrounds, Parks, and Pools

Our Maple Ridge and Pitt  Meadows summer camp embarks on daily adventures through the diverse landscapes of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, moving between shaded forest parks, local pools, and beautiful lakefronts with daily out-trips to places such as:

Whonnock Lake: A highlight of our program. We venture to this scenic lake for beach days, shoreline exploration, and a fun day of outdoor recreation surrounded by the beautiful lakefront scenery.

Maple Ridge Park: We explore the vast green spaces and shaded trails of this community staple, located along the Alouette River, while enjoying a variety of fun outdoor activities.

Harris Road Park Pool and Hammond Park Pool: We stay cool with swimming sessions at these local outdoor pools, perfect for refreshing after an active morning.

Indoor Backup at Jungle Jac's and Maple Ridge Leisure Centre: If the Ridge Meadows weather calls for a break from the outdoors—whether it's heavy rain or wildfire smoke—we move our activities indoors to the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre Pool or head to Jungle Jac's Play Centre for indoor fun.

The Rainforest Philosophy

Our non-profit camps prioritize nature-immersion and active, outdoor play. We are participant-centred, following the unique interests and curiosity of every camper to spark self-discovery. We strive to cultivate a community built on kindness, respect, empathy, and connection.

As a screen-free environment, we trade devices for discovery. Our team is composed of career professionals, including Teachers, EAs, and Lifeguards, who bring maturity and expertise to the field. We aim to maintain low 1:5 ratios at our summer camps (supported by dedicated volunteers) to ensure optimal safety and mentorship.

We seek to empower, inspire, and create community through every adventure.

Our goal is to create the safest, healthiest, and most respectful community possible. We have a zero-tolerance policy for physical, verbal, and emotional violence. If a camper is violent, their family will be called to pick them up and the rest of their camp registration will be cancelled and refunded.
